Role Purpose:

Responsible for procurement of raw materials, components, and traded items for furniture manufacturing, ensuring cost competitiveness, quality compliance, and timely availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Procure raw materials and components such as boards, laminates, hardware, profiles, glass, adhesives, fittings, and MTO components.

Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers; develop alternate sourcing to mitigate supply risks.

Float RFQs, evaluate quotations, conduct commercial negotiations, and finalize suppliers.

Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) as per production and project requirements

Vendor coordination to ensure OTIF delivery and quality adherence

Inventory monitoring to prevent stock-outs or excess

Costing support, negotiations, and value improvement initiatives

Cross-functional coordination with Planning, Production, Quality, and NPD

ERP updates, MIS reporting, and SOP compliance

Expectations:

Strategic sourcing role leading negotiations, cost optimization, supplier development, and team guidance.

Qualifications & Experience:

Graduate in Engineering / Supply Chain / Commerce

8+ years of procurement experience in the Modular Furniture industry
