Develop and execute the organization's Industrial Relations strategy across manufacturing locations.
|
|
|
|
Build and maintain constructive relationships with recognized unions and employee representatives.
|

Lead long-term wage settlements, collective bargaining, and union negotiations.
|
|
|
|
Handle disciplinary cases, domestic enquiries, grievance redressal, and conflict resolution.
|
|
|
|
Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws, Industrial Relations Code, Factories Act, CLRA, Standing Orders, Social Security regulations, and other statutory requirements.
|
|
|
|
Represent the company before Labour Commissioners, Industrial Tribunals, and government authorities.
|
|
|
|
Develop IR policies, disciplinary procedures, and employee communication frameworks.
|
|
|
|
Drive contractor and contract labour governance, ensuring statutory compliance.
|
|
|
|
Monitor employee climate, industrial harmony, and workforce engagement.
|
|
|
|
Advise business leaders on labour law implications during organizational changes, restructuring, productivity initiatives, and automation.
|
|
|
|
Lead crisis management during industrial disputes, strikes, lockouts, or employee unrest.
|
|
|
|
Partner with HR, Legal, Plant Heads, EHS, Security, and Operations to improve workforce productivity.
|
|
|
|
Oversee employee welfare initiatives and statutory welfare facilities.
|
|
|
|
Develop succession plans and capability-building initiatives for IR teams.
|
|
|
|
Maintain strong relationships with local administration, labour departments, industry bodies, and external stakeholders.
|
|
|
|
Drive productivity-linked initiatives while maintaining positive employee relations
|
