A. Finance Manager Responsibilities
|
|
|
|
Lead and manage finance operations within the Shared Services Center (SSC) for multiple business units, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets.
|
|
|
|
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings, reconciliations, and reporting in accordance with accounting compliance.
|
|
|
|
Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across shared finance processes.
|
|
|
|
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, reconciliations, and explanations.
|
|
|
|
Ensuring compliance with all statutory regulation and timely filing of all returns with the help of external consultants.
|
|
|
B. Manufacturing / Plant Finance Responsibilities
|
|
|
|
Partner with plant management to develop, monitor, and analyze key manufacturing metrics including cost of goods sold (COGS), inventory valuation, and production variances.
|
|
|
|
Oversee standard costing, cost accounting, and bill of materials (BOM) accuracy.
|
|
|
|
Prepare plant-level budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis; provide actionable insights to improve profitability and productivity.
|
|
|
|
Monitor and control capital expenditures (CAPEX), working capital, and operating expenses.
|
|
|
|
Support lean manufacturing initiatives and cost-reduction programs through data- driven financial analysis.
|
|
|
|
Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and corporate reporting requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
|
